In 1988 a decision was taken to extend the facilities offered to pilgrims at Knock to include a Counselling Service. The decision coincided with the plan to build a new Chapel of Reconciliation. The Counselling Service is located in a building adjacent to the Chapel of Reconciliation.
Knock Counselling Service exists to provide high quality, low cost counselling to individuals and couples. Knock Counselling Service also provides a Drop-in Service offering single sessions to people on pilgrimage at the Shrine or to any other person who needs to talk about personal difficulties in a confidential environment.

Counselling Service
Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm.
Evening appointments available one day a week.
Drop-in Service
Single sessions are available at the Drop-In Service every Thursday.
November to March - Every Thursday 11.00am - 3.00pm
April to October - Every Thursday 10.00am - 5.00pm
During the pilgrimage season - April to October - the Drop In Service is extended to include availability of single sessions every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm
